Maurizio Meldolesi, originally from Macerata, is a largely self-taught painter. A tireless experimenter, he constantly seeks to test his own limits, challenging himself in both drawing and painting techniques.

His works have already been exhibited in galleries in Brussels, Hong Kong, Rome, and at several Italian Cultural Institutes abroad. His oil paintings echo the themes of Caravaggio, Michelangelo, Raphael, and the atmospheres of Flemish painters.

In Bertrange, he will showcase new works created specifically for the occasion, highlighting his deep connection to his homeland, the Marche region. The exhibition tells the story of the painter’s evolution and his exploration of expression and content, through the visual language of the Renaissance reinterpreted in a contemporary key.
