Maurizio Meldolesi

Fine Art Painter
He received his training through painting courses at the Academy of Fine Arts in Macerata and the Florence Academy of Art, while also studying the creative processes, materials, and color formulations of the Old Masters – often through research into various restoration techniques. His works address contemporary themes by reinterpreting historical techniques, styles, and iconography in a modern context.
Through his engagement with the art scene in Rome, he began a collaboration with the Centro Studi Marche.
He has exhibited in solo and group shows in several major cultural centers both in Italy and abroad, including at the Italian Cultural Institutes in Prague, Stuttgart, and Cairo. In Brussels, he received an award for his artistic contribution to the Italian Cultural Institutes.
He was a finalist in the 13th Arte Laguna Prize at the Arsenale in Venice and was honored with the institutional award “Picus del Ver Sacrum” at the Senate of the Republic in Rome.
His works are held in churches, as well as in public and private collections in Italy and internationally.
